Thank You!

November 22, 2017

Firstly, I would like to give my sincerest thanks to my family for the unwavering love and support. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to finish my studies and survive everything I had been through. Thank you so much Ma and Pa, you are the main reason why I am here. I will forever be grateful – for giving me allowance and everything I need, waking up early to prepare for my breakfast and lunch, sacrificing your comfort for my own sake, for providing me more than enough to make sure I am well and comfortable, and for staying strong for me when I can’t be strong for myself.

Secondly, I would like to give my brothers and sisters a big hug for the support and assistance. I know I always forget my stuff at home, so careless of me. But my brother, Justine, is always ready to go through muddy roads, insert me into his tight schedule so I can keep up with my class. I will not forget this kindness. I would also like to thank my sister for guiding me on my internship journey – for giving me advice, what to do and not to do, Thank you so much, ate.  Thirdly, my big love and hugs to Peter for listening to me moan about how tired and exhausted I am – waking up early and staying up late, not having enough time to sleep, unruly students, unfair rules, everything. Thank you so much for lending me your listening ears and gentle heart. You may be far but I know you are always with me in spirit and ready to listen to me again. Thank you so much Peter Pan – know that I am proud of who you are.

Fourthly, big hugs to all my friends who believed in my abilities. I know we have not seen each other for months but I have not forgotten your support during my times of difficulty.  Fifthly, thank you to my cooperating teachers, Ms. Vivares and Ms. Esparrago, and my co-interns. Thank you so much helping me in my future teaching career. All the advice and memories we had will always remain in my mind and heart. I would also like to thank the KNHS students, faculty and staff for accepting as pre-service teachers in your humble school. With a special mention to Mr. Auman and Ms. Gutierrez for constantly guiding us as we face the realities of life in a public school.

Lastly, I would like to thank the entire faculty and staff of the school of education, with a special mention to Maam Jovy, Maam Marvs, Maam Kath, Maam Chat, Maam Beng, and Maam Charito. They have provided us with everything we need as we pre-service interns make our way to the real world. They served as our mothers in the whole pre-service internship and I will always remember the important things in life that they have taught us.

Once again, thank you very much.

Teacher Joy xx
